del 10 dicembre 2019
relativa alla nomina dei membri e dei supplenti del Comitato delle regioni per il periodo dal 26 gennaio 2020 al 25 gennaio 2025
IL CONSIGLIO DELL’UNIONE EUROPEA,
visto il trattato sul funzionamento dell’Unione europea, in particolare l’articolo 300, paragrafo 3, e l’articolo 305,
vista la decisione (UE) 2019/852 del Consiglio, del 21 maggio 2019, che determina la composizione del Comitato delle regioni

viste le proposte presentate da ciascuno Stato membro,
considerando quanto segue:

L’articolo 300, paragrafo 3, del trattato prevede che il Comitato delle regioni sia composto da rappresentanti delle collettività regionali e locali che sono titolari di un mandato elettorale nell’ambito di una collettività regionale o locale, o politicamente responsabili dinanzi ad un’assemblea eletta.

L’articolo 305 del trattato prevede che i membri del Comitato delle regioni nonché un numero uguale di supplenti siano nominati dal Consiglio per un periodo di cinque anni conformemente alle proposte presentate da ciascuno Stato membro.
(3)
Il mandato dei membri e dei supplenti del Comitato delle regioni termina il 25 gennaio 2020; è opportuno pertanto procedere alla nomina di nuovi membri e supplenti.
(4)
Tale nomina sarà seguita in data successiva da quella degli altri membri e supplenti i cui nominativi non siano stati comunicati al Consiglio anteriormente al 15 novembre 2019,
HA ADOTTATO LA PRESENTE DECISIONE:
Articolo 1
Sono nominate al Comitato delle regioni per il periodo dal 26 gennaio 2020 al 25 gennaio 2025:

quali membri, le persone incluse nell’elenco per Stato membro riportato nell’allegato I;
—
quali supplenti, le persone incluse nell’elenco per Stato membro riportato nell’allegato II.
Articolo 2
La presente decisione entra in vigore il giorno dell’adozione.
